This Carving Chisel Set is an excellent beginners to intermediate level set. It features factory ground and sharpened alloy chromium vanadium steel, hardened to Rockwell C60 so blades will hold an edge for a long time and won't dull quickly with repeated use. 

The handles are 14cm in length and made of Hardwood ash and a European octagonal style to prevent tools from rolling off your work space.
