Description
This Door Mortice Jig is a professional grade tool for locksmiths and carpenters. Accurate on doors from 35mm to 100mm thick, its suitable for cutting mortices for lock body and for face plates. Can also be used to cut door hinge slots as well as off centre locks.
It features a simple setup process: Mark/measure the required thicknesses, attach the jig to the door, set the depth and tighten with the supplier key, then connect to your drill and away you go. The carbide tip allows plunging and a smooth up and down motion to get the required door lock shape. Once the lock slot has been cut out, you can easily adjust the depth to cut out a template for the face plate.
The jig is portable and can be easily stored in a tool box and to improve work efficiency.
Comes with 18/22/26mm carbide tipped wood cutter, suitable for most wooden doors. Also includes wrenches, ruler, and allen keys in a plastic case.
Corded drill recommended for use.
