Description

These Luban Planes are popular planes known for their high quality and smooth chatter free operation. With a durable cast iron body, bubinga handle and quality stainless or parts, this plane is built to last.

The #6 fore plane is ideal for smoothing and flattening large surfaces, such as panels, table tops and workbench tops. The long sole ensures accuracy, as it will not follow the bumps and valleys that a shorter plane would. Its blade can be honed square for jointing (straightening) work on smaller work pieces or sharpened with a camber for smoothing and flattening stock.

The sole of this version measures 451 x 73mm with a 60mm wide blade.
