The Sawtooth Bit is a wood only bit for drilling blind holes. Its useable on your drill press or lathe. It features serrated edges which provides smoother cutting and gives it it's name. The serrated teeth chip away at the wood, reducing friction and preventing burning.
Sawtooth bits are more suitable for hard woods and deep holes than standard forstner bits.
